Follow Your Dreams
With our expedition yacht, we give researchers and scientists the opportunity to start or continue their study or field work.Our members and guests can participate in these expeditions.
Two teams of professional cameramen follow the whole trip as part of a long-term documentation of about 80 reports.
We make the results of the studies available to social, economic and political decision-makers - in the hope that they will be duly taken into account.
We assume that we will be able to support people in the field of education, health care and acces to drinking water, among others, in our international development cooperation.
FYD- Catamaran
Our expedition yacht is a 15,60-meter catamaran, specially developed and built for the significant demands that will be placed on it throughout its long voyage.
The yacht can accommodate 12 people.

Our research trip takes the form of a 10-year, round-the-world voyage accompanied by scientists, researchers and guests sailing through all the oceans and several rivers of the world. To complete the project, numerous land expeditions will be organized.

How much water do you actually need to survive?<br /><br />Our body consists of around two-thirds water. Under normal conditions, about two liters a day are enough. But what happens when you are traveling with twelve people on a research catamaran – far away from harbors, rivers, civilization?

An anchor. An adventure. A mission.
In a storm or strong winds, an anchor can quickly be subjected to several tons of pulling force.
For comparison: At wind force 12 – that is a hurricane with 118 km/h – forces of up to 12 tons can act on our 16-meter boat. That is like a whole truck pulling on the anchor!
